CINCO DE MAYO RECIPE ROUND UP

Cinco de Mayo is a date observed to commemorate the Mexican Army’s tremendous victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla. Cinco de Mayo has since taken root here in America and is a favorite holiday celebrated by many – even those not of Mexican descent. The recipes below are not true, authentic Mexican recipes. Some are Tex-Mex inspired recipes and some are Mexican inspired recipes but none are truly authentic. These are my American white girl versions of some of our favorites.
