Crock Pot Glazed Sausages

These Crock Pot Glazed Sausages are the perfect party food/appetizer! They stay warm in the slow cooker and the glaze is amazing!

A Delicious and Easy Appetizer Recipe

Let me start this post off by saying that we all went wild over these Crock Pot Glazed Sausages. My son kept going back for another bite. Then another. And then another. He normally doesn’t care for cranberry, but in this case, he really had no idea it was one of the ingredients.

We love these so much! I used to always bring the crock pot meatballs made with grape jelly but those get old after a while and are nothing new. These were a huge hit at a recent baby shower!! I came home with an empty crock pot LOL

An Appetizer or Snack or Dinner!

I make something similar with Meatballs Except that recipe just uses grape jelly and chili sauce or BBQ sauce. This mixture of cranberry and ketchup was a nice change to that recipe. This recipe comes from Gooseberry Patch’s latest cookbook, ‘101 Super-Easy Slow-Cooker Recipes‘. They had my attention at “Super Easy” and “Slow Cooker”!

I have had lots of fun cooking from this cookbook. There is a little something in here for everyone. You’ve got appetizers, main meals, soups and even desserts! I shared another recipe from this cookbook earlier this month if you missed it. It was the Crock Pot Taco Joes. SO good!

  • mini smoked sausages (Lit’l Smokies)
  • ketchup
  • whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • grape jelly

Note: This makes enough for a crowd. Feel free to cut the recipe in half if you don’t need as much.

How To Make Glazed Crock Pot Sausages

Place all ingredients into your slow cooker.

sliced kielbasa, Lit'l smokies, grape jelly, ketchup and cranberry jelly in a slow cooker.

Stir to mix well. Cover and cook on the low setting for 4-6 hours. The sausages are already pre-cooked. We’re really just warming them up here and making a yummy sauce for them to bathe in.

  6. My favorite crockpot receipe is crockpot candy. They call it crack around my house because you cannot just eat one piece.

  7. Hhhhmmmmm, my favorite crockpot meal would have to be Onion Celery Pork Chops – put pork chops in, sprinkle with some rings of onion and pour Cream of Celery Soup over it all. Cook on low until chops are done. Can thicken up the sauce to make a gravy for some potatoes or rice. Note to self, stop at store for chops and onion on the way home.

  8. I love to make beef stew in my crockpot, but have many other recipes that are terrific. Karen Oliver

  9. My favorite crockpot meal features a ranch packet, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, a little garlic powder and chicken tenders. We love to come home from church on Sundays to this served over mashed potatoes.
