A FUN DECORATED HALLOWEEN COOKIE
Frankenstein, I have to admit, is one of my favorite Halloween characters. He can be scary and lovable all at the same time. These Easy Frankenstein Cookies are super fun to make and they couldn’t be easier. There is no baking involved since we’re using store bought cookies that you get to decorate to your desire. Kids love helping with this fun cookie craft! If you want a deliciously cute Halloween treat, you need to make this Easy Frankenstein Cookie recipe!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
You want a larger cookie to make it easier to decorate. If you cannot find the chocolate covered graham cracker cookies you can use regular graham crackers for this as well. The candy corn might not stick to them as well so I would place them on top of the cookie instead of the sides.
If your grocery store does not carry green frosting, just get a can of vanilla frosting and add green food coloring to it.
Absolutely, this makes 10 cookies so you can make more of these if you like. Especially if you are bringing them for a party or school function.
The chocolate frosting is for the decorating but you can also use black cookie icing or gel icing in its place.
The candy eyeballs can be found at your local grocery store like Walmart down the cake decorating aisle. You can also find them on Amazon. I used assorted sizes for these cookies.
These can be stored in an airtight container or on a platter (not stacked) wrapped in plastic wrap where they will keep on the countertop for up to 3 days.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- chocolate covered graham cracker cookies
- green frosting
- chocolate frosting
- candy eyeballs (assortment of small and large)
- purple sprinkles
- candy corn

HOW TO MAKE FRANKENSTEIN COOKIES:
First, cut the white tips off of all 10 candy corn pieces and set them aside. I find it easiest to use scissors.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a cookie cooling rack and place each of the cookies on top. Using a butter knife or offset spatula, spread about a tablespoon and a half of green icing over each of the cookies. Make sure to add some on top and some on both sides of the cookie, covering completely.

Next sprinkle the purple sprinkles on to the top third of the cookie to create Frankenstein’s hair.

Next, place two candy eyes right below the hairline.

Dip the cut side of each candy corn in a little bit of the green frosting and stick a piece to each side of the cookie to create bolts.

Then place the chocolate frosting in a plastic baggie or piping bag and pipe on a smile and scar marks to each little Frankenstein.

Let frosting set.

Then enjoy!

Notes
- Use assorted candy eyeballs for this to make different sizes.

- If you cannot find green frosting get a can of vanilla and color it with green food coloring.
