Candy Corn Pudding Parfaits (+Video)

Candy Corn Pudding Parfaits are not candy corn-flavored just candy corn-colored. A deliciously fun Halloween dessert and so easy to make!

CANDY CORN (COLORED) PUDDING PARFAITS

Wait! Before you click away – this does not taste like candy corn. It just looks like it! I know people either love or hate candy corn and feel very strongly about it. Ha! But this is really just a fun vanilla pudding recipe that you can whip up super quick and it makes a special treat. Nothing fancy or time-consuming about it. You could even put these in some clear plastic cups so you won’t even have much washing up afterwards!

CAN I MAKE IT ALL FROM SCRATCH?

Yes, you can totally make your own homemade pudding and whipped cream or purchase your favorite substitutes.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)

  • instant vanilla pudding
  • cold milk
  • yellow food coloring
  • orange food coloring
  • frozen whipped topping (COOL WHIP)
  • candy corn and pumpkin candy, for garnish

HOW TO MAKE CANDY CORN PUDDING PARFAITS:

Pour one box of vanilla pudding mix into a mixing bowl. Add 2 cups of cold milk and whisk. Add 1 to 2 drops of orange food coloring. Whisk for 2 minutes.

Transfer the orange pudding into the bottom of your serving glasses. Fill each glass about 1/3 of t​​he way up with the pudding. Chill for 15 minutes.

ORANGE COLORED PUDDING ADDED INTO THE BOTTOM OF CLEAR DESSERT GLASSES

Add the remaining box of vanilla pudding into a medium bowl and add 2 cups of cold milk. Whisk until smooth. Add 1 to 2 drops of yellow food coloring and whisk for 2 minutes. Place a layer of yellow pudding on top of the orange pudding, filling each glass 2/3 of the way. Chill 15 minutes.

Spoon some whipped topping on top of the yellow layer, up to the top of each glass. Chill until ready to serve.

Cool Whip (whipped topping) spooned on top of cooled pudding parfaits.

Before serving, place a candy pumpkin and several candy corn pieces on top of each glass.
