Cherry 7-Up Fluff (+Video)
This Cherry 7-Up Fluff no-bake dessert is made with maraschino cherries, mandarin oranges, Cool Whip, marshmallows and cherry 7-Up and jello.
A UNIQUE FLUFF DESSERT RECIPE
This Cherry 7Up Fluff is a delicious no-bake dessert made with maraschino cherries, mandarin oranges, Cool Whip, marshmallows and cherry 7Up, cream cheese and jello. I love a good fluff salad! I pretty much keep one of these in my fridge at all times in the summer. I make so many different flavors that it never gets old: Pistachio Fluff, Pineapple Fluff, Ambrosia Salad, Mandarin Orange Fluff and Orange Creamsicle Fruit Salad.

WHAT OTHER FRUIT CAN I USE BESIDES BANANAS?
If you aren’t a fan of bananas, you can leave them out or substitute with diced pineapples, sliced grapes or diced peaches. Whatever your family loves. This is totally easy to tailor. You can even use regular-flavored 7-Up and a lemon or pineapple Jell-O to switch up the flavors!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- marshmallows
- cherry 7-Up
- cream cheese
- cherry gelatin mix (JELL-O)
- fresh lime juice
- maraschino cherries
- mandarin oranges
- bananas
- whipped topping (COOL WHIP)
HOW TO MAKE CHERRY 7-UP FLUFF:
In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine marshmallows and cherry 7-Up. Whisk together frequently until melted. Remove from heat.
In a separate large bowl, using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, cherry gelatin mix and lime juice until smooth.
Slowly stir in marshmallow/7-Up mixture to cream cheese mixture until combined well.
Stir in drained maraschino cherries, drained mandarin oranges and sliced bananas (slice the bananas just before adding so they don’t turn brown.)
Next, gently stir in whipped topping.
Note: Do not over stir this or the mandarin oranges will break up too much. You want to see those whole pieces of fruit in this.
Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Optional: garnish servings with a lime twist and a maraschino cherry.
Cook’s Notes: Don’t want to use bananas? Try using diced peaches, diced pineapple or sliced grapes!

If you substitute pineapple for the bananas, how much would you add?
Are you referring to canned pineapple chunks?
Yes the canned ones
I just got it but I will be making it .It looks so good
Could diet cherry 7-up and sugar free jellow be used.
I did this substitute sugar free and no sugar added fruit
Hi. That does sound very good but i wondered why you didn’t dissolve the jello in the hot soda before adding the marshmallows. How does the jello dissolve. It says on the box to dissolve it in boiling liquid.
Yes wondering same thing?
Because we aren’t making jell-o. It’s just adding flavor. 🙂
