Cherry Cheesecake Dip

I love dips. Well, actually, I love finger foods and potlucks. I'm kind of a grazer. I like to eat a little bit of everything. Pile my plate high with a bunch of samplings of food and I'm a happy gal. Super Bowl parties are the perfect excuse. Now, normally there are all kinds of savory dips. I love me some JalapeƱo Popper Dip and French Onion Dip but it's kinda nice to bring something sweet to the table. And this one couldn't be easier to make. Or to eat. And the bonus? This dip can be made ahead of time and you just let it chill in the fridge until you're ready to dig in.
I'm using a cherry pie filling here but really you could use any kind you love. Strawberry and blueberry would both work well. It is such a light and fluffy dip. It's not overly sweet. You could even use this same recipe as a no-bake pie if you like. You are gonna love this dip and your friends and family are gonna love eating it!
1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese, softened
1/2 (7.5 oz.) jar marshmallow fluff
1 (8 oz.) tub COOL WHIP, thawed
1 (14.5 oz.) jar cherry pie filling
graham crackers for serving

Mix together cream cheese and marshmallow fluff until smooth.
Then add in COOL WHIP and combine well.
Spread into a 2-quart dish or plate.
Then spread on cherry pie filling.
Serve with graham crackers!

  1. This looks like a serving for one...ME!! With the ingredients, this would be hard to stop eating!! Pinning it!!

  2. is it half of a 7.5 ounce of marshmallow fluff or is it just 7.5 ounces all together?

  3. It's half of a regular sized jar of marshmallow fluff. It ends up being about a cup or so, measured. Hope that helps :)

  4. I am reading this while cooking dinner, and this dip is making me hungry!! I could eat this by myself.

  5. This looks lovely but we don't have cool whip in the UK so what else could I use instead please? Also what does cool whip taste like ? Thank you, Meli xxx

    1. Do you have dream whip? That would be close.

  6. This would also be great with chocolate covered graham crackers!

  7. Joanne - hee hee! Melanie, it's a stabilized cream. Not sure what you have that is comparable. We have lots of folks from the UK on here so maybe someone will have a suggestion! Shirley - oh my gosh - yes!!

  8. Use about one cup of whipped
whipping cream that has been slightly sweetened to taste. That is about 4 ounces of the cream before whipping.

  9. Thank you so much for answering my questions Brandie and Nancy, I'm really grateful xxx

  10. I made this today to serve tomorrow . I hope it will keep like that. Should I let it sit out before serving?

  11. Made for a party tomorrow night - so very, very quick and delicious! I can already tell that this will become a go-to recipe for those days when I need something yummy for PTA meetings, family reunions, parties, etc. Thanks!

  12. I serve a dip like this, less the cherries with fruit. It usually disappears quickly. Mimi

  13. Is creme the same as fluff?

  14. Fluff and creme or cream are the same thing. I've purchased them all at one point or another! = )

  15. Making it right now...have a garage party to go to tonight....looked like not enough, so I doubled it...we will see how it goes.

  16. Hope it was a winner for the party Wendy! Doubling make have been a good call.

  17. Thanks Carolyn- I hope you get to try it and love it like we do.

  18. Could u make night before or is this a dish to make day if
