FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Yes of course. You can absolutely make your own cookie dough and brownie batter but we’re trying to keep this recipe easy here!
You can obviously use any type or brand of brownie mix that you love. I prefer the Duncan Hines Fudge Brownie mix.
Switch this up a little bit and use different cookie dough such as peanut butter or even sugar cookie dough for a different taste. You can also switch up the Oreo cookie flavors to change it up a bit. I really love the mint Oreo cookies with this!
I love them just how they are. However you could top with ice cream, whipped topping or chocolate sauce to make them even more indulgent!
The Slutty Brownies can be stored in an airtight container on the countertop for up to 3 days.
These brownies can also be frozen. I recommend cutting into squares and placing in a freezer bag or freezer container where they should keep for up to 1 month. Defrost on the countertop.

USE LESS BROWNIE MIX! I saw this recipe EVERYWHERE but ended up following this one because I didn’t have to make the cookies from scratch. I was worried about the baking time because the cookie dough needs much less time than the brownies and I didn’t want to overcook the dough, but I saw other recipes where people were worried about the brownie portion not cooking thoroughly and being too gooey. So I only used about 75%-80% of the total brownie mix (after I had prepared it according to the box instructions) and cooked for 35 minutes at 350 and the results are pretty good! Using less definitely help with the cook time. Hope this helps anyone else who finds this recipe!
I have been making these for ages and decided I should finally write a review. My skating team begs me to make them whenever we travel, they are amazing! I use Double stuff Oreo’s, I add a layer of Reese’s THINS on top of the Oreo’s, then sprinkle some mini M & M’s over the top (the peanut butter ones go great with the Reese’s) Makes then extra slutty, they are always a hit
It had a great moist taste but a couple edges fell apart. Used Ghirardelli brownie mix & Hershey cookies, followed recipe exactly. Might try to mix and match other flavors.
Is that 33oz total of cookie dough needed or 2 of the Family size tubes?
Thats the total amount needed 🙂
Thank you ma’am… My Family will be trying them tonight!!
Loved your request about the emails. Being curious i googled why are slutty brownies called slutty brownies.
“because they’re oh so easy, and more than a little bit filthy.”
SOUNDS GOOD & EASY. WILL MAKE FOR GRAND KIDS, THEY ARE ALWAYS HUNGRY.
Loved your comment!! “Truly I have no idea why they are called that name. It’s hilarious to me but I know folks get offended by nearly everything these days. However, that’s what most people know them by. So please don’t send me emails about the name because I’m not changing it.“
