Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

This Easy Pizza Pull-Apart Bread appetizer recipe is made with refrigerated biscuits, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic and cheese!

AN EASY AND FUN APPETIZER OR SNACK

I have been wanting to share this recipe for a while. I finally had a chance to snap some photos of this delicious bread. Because, let me tell ya, this is a hard one to keep fingers away from long enough to snap a shot! It is so good and it is best while still warm.

TIPS FOR MAKING PULL-APART BREAD:

  • Feel free to use more cheese than the recipe calls for if you love a really cheesy pull-apart bread.
  • Use a good quality Italian seasoning. Some of the generic brands go overboard with oregano in their Italian seasonings and it can overpower this recipe.
  • Add in any pizza toppings you enjoy: cooked sausage crumbles, green peppers, onion, etc. all work well in this.
  • It’s important to use a bundt pan for this recipe so all of the biscuits cook evenly. If you use just a regular baking dish, the inside would remain doughy while the outside is well-done.

Turn bread out of pan onto a serving plate while still warm. You may need to take a butter knife and gently go around the edges to get it to loosen it up. I like to serve it top side up (the pretty side).

  1. Hi I am making this for a party of about 10 people. Can i use 2 cans of biscuits? I saw another recipe that called for 2.

Could you use a ball of pre made pizza dough? I don’t care for the sweetness of canned biscuits. Thank you, Katherine

Of course! I too have a gargantuan disdain for the sweetness of artificial, pre-made, commercialized doughs, and a simple homemade pizza dough will work wonders with this recipe. (Helpful hint: Don’t skimp on the olive oil in this recipe).

      All the best,
      Larry

  5. Thank you so much Donna! I apologize I didn't see your comment earlier! I am so happy you are here. Ok, if you don't have a bundt pan, you can use a 9×13 baking dish. Just keep an eye on the time of it. It might bake faster since they are more spread out.
About the cheese, you use both mozzarella and Parmesan cheese in this recipe. You can add as much cheese as you like really. I probably would've add even more because I love cheese!

    1. I think that using a 2 qt. round baking dish would give you similar results. Also, as far as for the sticking factor, I line the bottom of my cake pans with wax paper for easy removal. Good luck. 🙂
