Grilled Honey Lime Chicken Skewers
Honey Lime Chicken Skewers start with the most amazing marinade! They are then grilled to a golden perfection and done in minutes!
A MARINATED GRILLED CHICKEN RECIPE
These grilled honey lime chicken skewers are so good and packed with a sweet and zesty flavor! The flavors are so light yet give the chicken so much flavor. This makes for great chicken to add to salads. The chicken breast chunks are marinated in honey, lime, and a few other simple ingredients. It’s what makes this chicken so delicious!

TIPS FOR MAKING CHICKEN SKEWERS
- If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 15 minutes so they don’t burn while on the grill.
- You can substitute agave syrup for the honey.
- The sriracha sauce is completely optional if you don’t like it too spicy.
- This recipe works wonderfully with chicken thighs as well.
- This chicken is absolutely delicious in tacos!
- Cilantro is optional if you don’t enjoy it.
- Try switching out the soy sauce with teriyaki sauce for a flavor twist.
- I like to serve these with a cilantro lime rice.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- boneless skinless chicken breasts
- soy sauce
- honey
- vegetable oil
- lime
- Sriracha sauce
- garlic, minced
- cilantro
- skewers (metal or wooden)

HOW TO MAKE GRILLED HONEY LIME CHICKEN SKEWERS:
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, oil, lime juice, Sriracha sauce, garlic and cilantro. Stir to combine.

Add the diced chicken pieces to marinade. Gently stir to coat in marinade. Cover bowl tightly.

Place in fridge and let marinade at least 1 hour, up to 3 hours. Thread 8 to 9 pieces of chicken onto each skewer. Cook’s Note: if using wooden skewers make sure to soak in water at least 15 minutes)

Preheat grill to medium heat. Grill over medium heat,

Cook about 7 to 8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked in center. Chicken should have an internal temperature of 165F degrees.

Then enjoy! Serve with extra fresh limes to squeeze on top.
