FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What is the difference between pink and strawberry lemonade?

Pink lemonade uses grenadine syrup, which is a red colored pomegranate syrup usually used in mixed drinks or in drinks like a Shirley Temple. Strawberry lemonade uses fresh strawberries to give you the pink color and strawberry flavor.

How to make strawberry lemonade without a blender?

You will just need to fund the strawberries to a pulp. The easiest way to do this is to put the strawberries into a large ziploc bag then seal the bag. Using a heavy object like a flat meat mallet or rolling pin, pound the strawberries until they are completely mashed. Then mix the mashed strawberries with the rest of the ingredients and stir well.

Is drinking strawberry lemonade good for you?

Fresh strawberries and lemons have lots of vitamins and nutrients. To make this healthier you could use a sugar substitute like Stevia or your favorite sugar substitute.

Can I double this recipe?

Absolutely, you will just need a pitcher or a punch bowl that is large enough to accommodate the extra amount.

Does this have pulp?

Yes, there is a little pulp in this Strawberry Lemonade. If you are not a pulp fan you can strain this through a fine mesh strainer to remove it.

Can I use bottled lemon juice?

No. Please don’t. The bottled lemon juice will make it taste fake. Juicing fresh lemons is the go-to method to get the perfect flavor.

How do I store leftovers?

This can be stored in the refrigerator covered where it will keep for up to 7-10 days.

  1. 5 stars
This strawberry lemonade is easy, fast, and super yummy!! my hubby’s FAV!! it’s also super good if you add a little more ice to your final product for an amazingly delicious slushie!! Happy Summer Yall!!

  2. Just out of curiosity, how many lemons do you need to get 2 cups of juice? And do you think that organic, preservative free bottled lemon juice would suffice? No pun intended, but lemons don’t grow on trees in Ohio and if they do, we don’t see them at any farmer’s markets. This sounds like it’s right up my alley, but fresh lemons are expensive. Thanks, Brandie!

    1. Honestly, it really depends on the lemon. Some can squeeze out 1/4 cup while others just a couple tablespoons, so I usually just buy a bag. As for the bottled lemon juice, I personally don’t like it at all. It just tastes bitter to me. But, if it’s something you’ve tasted and enjoy then I say go for it! ❤️
