Walking S’mores (+Video)

A fun handheld treat, these Walking S’mores are family friendly and come together in no time. A fun twist on classic s’mores without the campfire!

A FUN TWIST ON S’MORES

I have been having a lot of fun with these “walking” desserts and meals. There are so many combination of flavors that you can have fun with and its great because you can serve them up and folks can walk around with them and have a tasty treat! I’ve done a Walking Banana Pudding, Walking Strawberry Pretzel Salad, a Walking Strawberry Cheesecake, Walking Tacos and now Walking S’mores! This one has become a huge summertime favorite with kids!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can I use chocolate Teddy Grahams?

Yes, that would be a great switch up to this recipe. It won’t have the graham cracker flavor for the normal s’mores flavor but it can be used.

What other pudding can I use?

Vanilla or regular chocolate pudding will work as well. You can even use cheesecake pudding to switch up the flavor.

Could I use pudding cups instead?

Instead of preparing the pudding, you can purchase the already prepared pudding cups. You may not find a white chocolate prepared pudding cup so just purchase vanilla.

Do the bags hold up well?

The bags do hold up very well. Rolling down the sides a little helps. I take care not to overfill them so they do not collapse when filled. I also want to be able to get a spoon in there to easily scoop it out to eat.

Do the cookies get soggy?

They will start to get soggy if sitting for more than hour. However, some folks like the cookies to be softer so this is optional. Just keep it in the refrigerator as it sits.

Could I use marshmallow fluff?

Absolutely! If you want a more gooey marshmallow topping, you could certainly use marshmallow fluff instead of mini marshmallows.

How do I store leftovers?

These are best when first made. But you can store them in the refrigerator for up to an hour before serving.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR WALKING S’MORES: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)

  • Teddy Grahams
  • white chocolate pudding
  • mini marshmallows
  • milk chocolate chips
  • whipped cream
  • chocolate sprinkles

HOW TO MAKE WALKING S’MORES:

Open each bag of Teddy Grahams. Place all the bags in a container so they stay upright (like a baking dish as seen below.) Fill each bag with 3 to 4 heaping spoonfuls of the prepared white chocolate pudding.

Pudding added to top of Teddy Grahams in bag.

Next add mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and sprinkles.

Marshmallows and chocolate chips added to top of pudding in dish.

Before serving, top each bag with whipped cream (I just use Reddi Wip and squirt it on top) and additional sprinkles. Then serve with a spoon and enjoy!
