Maybe because everyone gets their own special serving. It makes it feel like more of a treat! Also, I love when I can easily create a delicious dessert and it doesn’t require a lot of time or ingredients. So if you enjoy parfaits like we do, then you absolutely have to try this Strawberry Cheesecake Parfait recipe.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Generally a parfait has three layers. A crust of some sort (like graham cracker crumbs or granola), a creamy middle layer (like cheesecake, pudding or yogurt) and a topping (like fruit or chocolate). In the case of this strawberry parfait, it’s a graham cracker crust, a creamy cheesecake middle layer and topped with strawberry fruit spread.
It depends on the parfait. There are fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits that are considered healthy. They are layers of yogurt, fresh fruit and granola. This recipe, however, is a dessert parfait.
Parfaits are individual servings and do not contain a layer of cake. A trifle is presented in one large trifle dish where everyone is then served from. Trifle also has cake pieces in between the layers whereas parfaits do not.
No, not at all. This will work with any of your favorite flavors of jelly, jams or preserves. This can also work with pie filling too if you’d like!
Absolutely, if you don’t want to whip heavy cream to make homemade whipped cream then Cool Whip will also work and is a great shortcut!
Yes. To properly set up and have the best consistency you will want to let these chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
You can use crushed cookies such as vanilla wafers or even chocolate graham cracker crumbs to switch up the flavor.
These can be stored in the refrigerator covered where they should keep for up to 1-2 days.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- graham cracker crumbs
- salted butter
- heavy cream
- cream cheese
- greek yogurt
- granulated sugar
- vanilla extract
- strawberry fruit spread

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE PARFAITS:
In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter. Mix well. Add about 2 Tablespoon of this mixture to each of the glasses that you are using and set the glasses aside.

Using an electric mixer, whip up the heavy cream till you get stiff peaks.

In another bowl, take the cream cheese and add yogurt, vanilla extract, sugar, and beat it till it becomes smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no lumps. Gently fold the whipped cream with the cream cheese and set it aside.

Fill this mixture in a piping bag.

Cut out a large opening and then fill your glasses almost till the top, leaving a little space for the topping. Put it in the refrigerator for at least an hour to set before you put the topping. Note: you can just spoon the cheesecake mixture into the individual parfaits if you don’t have a piping bag.

Top it up with the strawberry jelly, garnish with fresh strawberries and mint leaves if desired and serve chilled.
