This Easy Garlic Bread recipe is made with French bread, real butter, garlic and uses a special trick to make it come out perfect every time!
OUR FAVORITE GARLIC BREAD RECIPE
One of my favorites from childhood is my Momma's garlic bread. She would slather a garlic butter mixture on the bread and throw it in the oven while she was making supper. Oh boy, the house would smell so good. Especially when she was making it with one of my favorite childhood meals, spaghetti. So here's my Mom's garlic bread. It still tastes wonderful to me every single time I make it. Although, I love it more when I eat it at her house! It's simple, easy and delicious.

TIPS FOR MAKING GARLIC BREAD:
- You can use fresh garlic with this. One or two cloves will work. Just make sure it is finely minced. It's not fun to bite into a big ole chunk of garlic.
- Short on time? You can microwave this bread too. The bread won't be crispy like making it in the oven though. Don't wrap the bread in foil. Microwave half a loaf at a time. Lay pieces side by side on a microwave-safe plate (that has been covered with a paper towel.) Cover bread slices with a paper towel and microwave on medium (50%) for about 2-3 minutes.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- French bread
- salted butter
- garlic powder
- dried parsley

HOW TO MAKE EASY GARLIC BREAD:
Preheat oven to 400F degrees. In a bowl, mix together softened butter, garlic powder and parsley.

Slice bread into 1-inch slices.

Spread butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.

Reassemble loaf onto heavy duty aluminum foil. Wrap loaf securely with aluminum foil. Put loaf onto baking sheet.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes until hot and butter is melted onto bread. Nice crusty bread with a warm garlic butter topping!
