A TASTY COPYCAT BREADSTICK RECIPE
I’m obsessed with Little Caesar’s Crazy Bread. It’s that garlic butter/Parmesan cheese topping that really makes it good. This recipe couldn’t be easier to make so now you can have Little Caesar’s Crazy Bread at home whenever you feel like! Covered with butter and sprinkled with cheese, these pillowy breadsticks only take about 30 minutes to make. So if you love breadsticks as much as I do then you have to make my Copycat Little Caesar’s Crazy Bread recipe!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
No, if you have a favorite homemade pizza dough recipe you can absolutely use it. Just make sure that you are making 2 pounds worth of dough. I just like to use store bought because it is quicker.
This makes a total of 16 breadsticks.
I like to use the basic grated parmesan that comes in the green containers for this recipe (like Kraft.) You can freshly grate your own if you’d like but it’s not going to taste like the ones you get at Little Caesar’s.
You can use any of your favorite dipping sauces. I just use pizza sauce since that’s what you get at Little Caesars with the crazy bread. You could also use marinara sauce or garlic butter.
These can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature where they will keep for up to 4 days. They can also be frozen. I suggest wrapping each breadstick individually in plastic wrap and then placing in a freezer bag. These will keep frozen for up to 3 months. To defrost, remove to the refrigerator or countertop overnight until thawed.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
- store bought pizza dough
- salted butter
- garlic powder
- grated parmesan cheese

HOW TO MAKE LITTLE CAESAR’S CRAZY BREAD:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare 2 baking sheets by lining each one with parchment paper. Working with one dough at a time, remove pizza dough from its packaging. Roll it into a ball and set it onto a clean work surface.

Divide the dough into half. Divide each half into quarters. Then, divide those quarters into halves again, resulting in 8 equal-sized portions of dough.

Roll each portion into a ball, then a 6 to 7-inch long breadstick-like shape. Place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat steps 2 to 4 with the other dough.

Bake both baking sheets of breadsticks for 18 to 20 minutes, or until baked in the center and starting to brown on top.

Add butter to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave until melted. Add garlic powder to the butter and stir to combine. Brush the tops of the breadsticks with melted butter.

Then sprinkle tops with grated parmesan cheese.

Serve breadsticks warm with a side of marinara dipping sauce.

we never have any left over to freeze!
Overall a good recipe. Taste was not exactly the same but close enough. It was my first time trying and maybe the ingredients I bought aren’t the same quality as the original crazy bread.
A question and a comment:
How high above the bottom of the oven do you place your baking sheets? I put mine less than halfway up to the top because that’s where it usually sits. The bottoms of the breadsticks did not burn, but they did turn brown and were harder than the rest of the stick.
For my comment, I didn’t form the sticks the way you did, because I’m pretty sure they aren’t made like that at LC’s. I gently flattened the store bought dough until it was covering a decent area. I then used a pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips. The result looked much closer to the ones I buy at LC’s. (save for the extra brown bottoms which I mentioned earlier.)
Worked at little caesars for yeaaaars. The way they do it is take a ball of their dough that ran thru the “sheeter” hits what flattens a ball of dough, to be stretched and put in pizza pan)…. Then they roll pin it a little to be flatter, then run a pizza cutter on it to make strips…. And lay those strips on a bread tray (standard baking sheet rectangle)…. And run it halfway thru oven where pizza goes (they open viewing door on front, slide it in)
Once it comes out they use a paintbrush in a bowl of garlic butter and paint the tops in quick long strokes…. And then sprinkle a shaker full of parm cheese across tops…. Then use tongs to pick up sticks and slide into a bag.
Thats why if you take out all the sticks and line them up right like solving a puzzle, it will make an oval or roundish shape…. Because it is literally one small or medium pizza (I forget which) dough ball.
That’s it.
This was so good & so easy!! Everyone raved thank you!
thank you very delicious..
