Club Sandwich on a Stick is a fun twist on a regular sandwich. Perfect for lunch, parties or brunch. Each one has the perfect bite!
CLUB SANDWICH ON A STICK
The Club Sandwich on a Stick has got bread, cheese, lettuce, cherry tomatoes , ham, turkey deli meats all in bite-sized portions. This is something everyone will eat and it can be changed up so many ways. Shoot, if you just threw some of this deli meat on a stick, my guys would eat it. But I try to throw some veggies in there too. We gotta try, right Moms?

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS LUNCH OR APPETIZER:
- For lunch, I pack some honey mustard dipping sauce on the side. Then I can add some chips, carrot sticks and grapes or apples into the lunch bag. I don't know what it is, but it seems like when you serve bite-sized food, folks love it.
- Use different types of bread (a thick, hearty bread works best), different cheeses and meats.
- The firmer the cheese, the harder it is to thread onto the sticks. Softer cheeses like mozzarella, colby, brie and monterey jack all hold their shape well when sliding onto the stick.
- Also, feel free to toast the bread first if you like it a little more crunchy.
- This isn't so much a recipe as it is an idea that you can totally tweak to your family's liking. You can't go wrong!
- Also, for younger kids, you will want to use lollipop sticks instead of skewers. Lollipop sticks are flat on both ends and no one can get injured by accident! Or you can use the blunt toothpicks as well.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
thinly sliced turkey and ham deli meats
cheddar cheese
lettuce
cherry tomatoes
white and wheat bread, thick slices
HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING, for dipping
small wooden skewers, toothpicks or lollipop sticks
HOW TO MAKE CLUB SANDWICH ON A STICK:
Like I said, this is so simple! Cube up your bread and your cheese. Now, the harder the cheese, the harder it is to get on a toothpick. Softer cheeses like mozzarella, colby, brie and monterey jack all hold their shape well when sliding onto the stick.

Then start sliding your bite sized pieces onto the stick. For younger kids, slice the cherry tomatoes in half. I start with a cube of bread, then tomato, lettuce, cheese, Butterball Deli Ham (folded in quarters), another piece of bread, Butterball Deli Turkey, then a final piece of bread. Boom, that's it.
Pour some honey mustard into a small, lidded container for dipping. Be sure to pack it with a cold pack so it stays cool until lunchtime!
