A FUN SUMMER DRINK RECIPE

When it comes to cocktails I am really a fruity drink person. I will drink a variety but when the summer months roll around, I just want to sit on my porch and drink a nice fruity drink. This Sex on the Beach is exactly that. With various alcohols and fruit juices, it makes a fun and easy cocktail that everyone will enjoy. Mix this up for a warm summers night or make a batch to serve to guests at a cookout. There is no wrong time to serve this amazing drink! If you are into fruity drinks like me, then you have to make this Sex on the Beach cocktail.

What is in the Sex on the Beach drink?

There are four main ingredients: vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice
and cranberry juice.

How do you make a Sex on the beach shot?

Equal parts vodka, schnapps, cranberry juice and orange juice (about 1/2 tablespoon each.)

What is Peach Schnapps?

Peach Schnapps is a distilled peaches that is mixed with a neutral grain liquor. All Schnapps are made this way with the distilled fruit being the main flavoring ingredient.

What vodka is best to use for this?

There are various different vodkas that you can use for this cocktail depending on your budget. With this particular one I went with Grey Goose. Some others that you can use include: Skyy, Svedka, Titos, Belvedere, Absolut, Kettle One, Pinnacle, etc. You can also use flavored ones. I think pineapple vodka would be delicious in this!

How do you make a pitcher of Sex on the Beach?

Very simply. You are going to pour equal parts of vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice and orange juice in a pitcher or punch bowl.

Can I use pineapple juice instead of orange juice?

Absolutely. This recipe has a tropical inspired taste so it works wonderfully with pineapple.

How do I store leftovers?

These are best when they are first made, but if you are making a pitcher you can store them in the refrigerator for a few hours.

  • maraschino cherries, garnish

HOW TO MAKE A SEX ON THE BEACH:

Fill a cocktail mixing glass halfway with ice. Pour in the vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice, and cranberry juice. Gently stir.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces vodka

  • Fill a cocktail mixing glass halfway with ice. Pour in the vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice, and cranberry juice. Gently stir.

Notes

  • You can use fresh squeezed orange juice if you want.
  • Use pulp free orange juice so there is no pulp floating at the top.
  • This can be made into a pitcher drink to serve more people.
  • Pineapple juice can be substituted for the orange juice.
