Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding

Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding recipe is made with brioche bread soaked in a hot cocoa custard mix, baked, then topped with a marshmallow sauce.

DELICIOUS BREAD PUDDING WITH A CREAMY MARSHMALLOW SAUCE

What I enjoy most about making bread pudding is that if you have some leftover bread that needs using, this is a great way to give it new life. If you’ve got some French bread or other hearty bread that is starting to go stale, use it in this dessert!

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS DESSERT RECIPE:

  • Feel free to use any thick bread: Challah bread, French bread, Italian loaf, or thick sliced white bread (like Texas toast).
  • Want a more sweet and salty flavor? Try drizzling the top of each slice with Salted Caramel rather than the marshmallow cream sauce.
  • Don’t rush the process. The bread needs time to soak up the custard sauce before you bake it. If necessary, stir the bread as it soaks in the custard to make sure all the bread pieces get a good soaking. It makes all the difference!
