FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do I have to use leftover ham?

While this recipe is perfect for leftover ham, you can use any sliced ham. Deli ham or store-bought packaged ham all works. I suggest something sweet like honey or maple ham, the sweetness plays well with the savory cheese and seasonings.

Can I make my own homemade pizza dough?

Of course. If you have a favorite homemade pizza dough recipe, feel free to use that.

What other cheeses could I use?

If you want to mix up the cheese, other varieties I suggest are mozzarella, pepper jack, smoked gouda, Monterey Jack or Gruyere. If you can, buy a block of cheese and shred it by hand, it melts much nicer.

What other dipping sauces can be used?

If you don’t like honey mustard, other dipping sauces I suggest are pizza sauce, ranch, or spicy mustard.

How do I store leftovers?

Keep leftovers in a covered container the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 3 months. I suggest reheating in the oven or an air fryer until warmed through. A microwave can be used in a pinch, but the dough may become soggy.

smelled good, looked good, but the inside dough was completely uncooked which was super frustrating. I ended up having to unroll it and tear it apart to cook it without burning the outside
