This Copycat Wendy's Chocolate Frosty recipe only has two ingredients and makes enough for a small crowd. Creamy deliciousness!
COPYCAT WENDY'S CHOCOLATE FROSTY
The sweet treat that isn't really ice cream and it's not quite a milkshake. It's in the in-between zone. This is handy if you don't live close to a Wendy's and everyone in my family loves to make this. If you have kids, it's a fun and easy treat for them to make and you don't have to worry about your Frostys melting on the drive home!
TIPS FOR MAKING THIS CHOCOLATE TREAT:
- This will make about 8-10 servings.
- I have a 1 ½ quart ice cream maker and this recipe works perfectly for this size. If your ice cream maker is larger, you may want to double the recipe.
- Also, My ice cream maker bowl must be completely frozen before use. I cover it with plastic wrap (so it doesn’t form ice crystals on the bowl) and freeze for at least 24-48 hours. When I’m ready to use it, I pull off plastic wrap, pop it into position and turn it on.
- Freeze any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together chocolate milk and sweetened condensed milk until combined.

LOL, funny girl! I'm so excited to try these frosty treats.
Could you make me a vanilla one? I love that burger/milkshake combo!
Patti, you could make this vanilla if you wanted. You can purchase vanilla flavored milk or you can just use a quart of white milk and add vanilla extract to it. Maybe about 1/2 tbsp. (or more depending on your taste) 🙂
Thank you! to be frank i never did care for the chocolate 1 (to me it Always tasted like weak chocolate frozen ice pieces) no was Not the individual stores faults, cause i've tried many stores in Michigan, Florida, Kentucky & California! But the vanilla is the most delicious Love it
Brilliant! Who knew you could make a show stopping Wendy's frosty at home? And with only two ingredients! Buzzed and stumbled 🙂
Hehe you had me with FROSTY!! I absolutely love them and this looks amazing, love it!! 🙂
Time to make a batch of french fries to go with the Frosty. I still dip my fries into my Frosty at Wendys. Itty Bitty will be singing your praises for this recipe.
Not only is there NOT a Sonic anywhere near me, there is NOT a Wendy's either. Once again, you are my hero. awesome.
I have the exact same ice cream maker here, so I can definitely use the amounts you recommended. I'm pretty sure I have a stray can of condensed milk here somewhere -- from a key lime pie that never happened, most likely, so I can pick up some chocolate milk and make this happen!
hehe I always dip fries in my frostys haha. It is like something that I just cannot resist doing. Your chilled beverage looks amazing
Love a Wendy's Frosty!! This recipe is amazing, so easy. Thanks for sharing 🙂

My husband is not a fan of chocolate, but for some reason he loves a frosty from Wendy's. I will have to make this for him!

I will definitely be trying this recipe, I am pinning it now! Thanks so much for sharing and rekindling some childhood memories for me!
Who knew that my favorite frosty could be so simple! I love that it's only 2 ingredients! Perfect! Thanks for sharing your recipe! : )
