A FUN AIR FRYER BREAKFAST

As you can see, I’m a breakfast person. I don’t ever skip breakfast if I can help it! A trick I recently learned is how to make bagels in the air fryer – who knew you could do that?! Literally, I love my air fryer. You can pretty much make anything in them and these bagels turn out perfect in it! I love a good bagel and when I can make them from home instead of buying them at the store – it’s even better! You won’t believe how easy these are to make! If you are an air fryer and bagel fan like I am, then you have to try this Air Fryer Cinnamon Bagel recipe.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Why do I need olive oil spray?

This is to spray the basket. It is the best spray to use in an air fryer where it does not clog it up, get sticky or ruin the basket.

Do I need to preheat my air fryer?

Yes, you will need to preheat it to 350 degrees F. This is just like preheating the oven, it cuts down the time needed to make these bagels.

How long do bagels take to cook in an air fryer?

They take between 8-10 minutes, they will be puffed up and golden on the outside.

Can I toast bagels in the air fryer?

Absolutely! First cook the bagels until done. To toast, cut them across lengthwise. Place them cut side up back into the air fryer at 350°F. Toast for 2-5 minutes depending on your desired toastiness.

What can I top these with?

I like to use my homemade Cinnamon Honey Butter, but regular butter will work, cream cheese, jams or anything that you will think will complement the cinnamon flavor.

How do you store leftover bagels?

These can be stored in an airtight container where they will keep for up to 2-3 days. You can reheat in the toaster or in the air fryer as stated above. Bagels can also be frozen. Wrap well to protect against freezer burn and they can be frozen for up to 3 months.

    1. I haven’t tested it with anything other than Greek yogurt, I’m sorry. In general, sour cream can be a substitute for Greek yogurt in baking but I haven’t tested it to be able. to tell you for sure. If you try it, I’d love to know if it works for you!
