Roast Beef Sliders
These easy to make Roast Beef Sliders are so easy to make but pack so much flavor! They’re great for a party appetizer or a busy weeknight dinner!
FAST, SIMPLE AND FILLING SLIDERS
These seriously delicious sliders are made with tender slices of deli sliced roast beef soaked in beef broth with melted provolone cheese on a Hawaiian slider roll topped with a garlicky glaze! They make the perfect entertaining appetizer or a tasty meal for the whole family. If you can’t tell by my endless amount of sliders on my site, they are one of my go-to recipes. My family gobbles them up! I love to make them because they really are so simple to throw together but they make for a warm and filling meal!

You can use it as a dipping sauce for the sliders. Think of it like an au jus gravy. It really infuses the deli roast beef with so much flavor and moistens it up. However, you can always skip the broth part and just top with the sliced roast beef as-is.
Cheddar or Monterey Jack would definitely be good as well. Or you can get fancy and use horseradish cheddar, I know Boar’s Head has one, SO GOOD.
These sliders are good with just about any side. Some of my favorites to enjoy with them are:
– keep it easy and serve with some potato chips
– french fries, sweet potato fries, or tater tots
– macaroni salad or potato salad
I suggest trying to reheat them in the oven covered with foil so they don’t brown more or pop them in the microwave. They are good cold too. Just remember that the longer you keep them, the chances of them getting soggy increase over time.
Keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
- beef broth – I used low sodium.
- deli sliced roast beef – this recipe also works fantastic with leftover roast beef or pot roast.
- Hawaiian rolls– cut in half lengthwise. Other slider rolls will work but these bring a subtle sweetness that I think contrast nicely with the salty beef and cheese.
- provolone cheese– see more cheese options in the FAQ section.
- salted butter – you need really butter here, not margarine.
- dijon mustard – if you don’t have or like dijon mustard you can just skip it or use regular mustard (keep in mind that regular yellow mustard has a slightly harsher vinegar taste.)
- dried onion flakes – you could use onion powder (about 1/2 teaspoon) but the onion flakes add a since texture to the topping.
- garlic powder

HOW TO MAKE ROAST BEEF SLIDERS
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Add the beef broth to a large skillet and bring to a simmer, for about 5 minutes. Add the roast beef and stir it in until warmed, 2 minutes. Place the bottom of the rolls, cut side up into the baking dish.

Add 6 slices of the cheese on top, they will probably overlap. Add the warmed roast beef and let the excess broth drip off.

Add the remaining cheese on top. Add the tops of the rolls.

In a small bowl, stir together the butter, dijon, onion flakes, and garlic powder. Brush the butter sauce all over the rolls, use it all. Add non stick foil on top, or spray a large piece of foil with cooking spray. Bake covered for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted. Take off the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until browned.

Cut into individual sliders and serve.

Roast Beef Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 cups beef broth (I prefer the low sodium)
- 1 pound deli sliced roast beef
- 12 Hawaiian rolls, cut in half lengthwise
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- ½ cup salted butter, melted
- ½ Tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Add 2 cups beef broth to a large skillet and bring to a simmer, for about 5 minutes.
- Add 1 pound deli sliced roast beef and stir it in until warmed, about 2 minutes.

- Place the bottom half of the Hawaiian Rolls – cut side up into the baking dish.

- Add 6 slices of provolone cheese on top, they will probably overlap.

- Add the warmed roast beef and let the excess broth drip off.

- Add the remaining 6 slices of provolone cheese on top.

- Add the tops of the rolls.

- In a small bowl, stir together 1/2 cup salted butter, melted, 1/2 Tablespoon dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.

- Brush the butter sauce all over the rolls, use it all.

- Add nonstick foil on top (or spray a large piece of foil with cooking spray). Bake covered for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Take off the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until browned. Cut into individual sliders and serve.
