Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy (For Two)
Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy for Two is an easy dinner recipe. It’s tender, seasoned shredded chicken coated in a creamy gravy. Pop it all in the slow cooker and let it go to work!
A HEARTY CROCK POT DINNER RECIPE FOR TWO
My original Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy recipe is one of my most popular meals on my site. But sometimes you just don’t need to make as much, right? So, I figured, why not make a smaller version so you can have a delicious filling dinner for two? My other recipes for two have been such a big hit with everyone that I thought I would take some more popular recipes on my site and scale them down for two so you don’t have to do all the work of figuring it out yourself. I will say that if your chicken breasts are large, you will probably have a little leftover but it will be perfect for a little lunch the next day but not a ton leftover that you will be sick of it after 3 days!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Any other seasoning will work, if you prefer something else over the simple blend I used . You could try lemon pepper, Creole or Mrs. Dash seasoning. I would just be careful when choosing other options that include more salt. There’s already plenty of salt in the cream of chicken soup and the gravy mix, so if you add too much more, it’ll become too salty.
You can make this dish even creamier by add some sour cream or heavy cream to the mixture closer to the end of the cooking time.
It might look like the sauce will be too thick when you first add it, but once the chicken cooks and releases its juices, it all comes together to form the perfect gravy.
I like to serve this Slow Cooker Chicken and Gravy for Two over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. It goes really nice with my Stovetop Mashed Potatoes or my Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes.
Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave. Freeze for up to 3 months.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE)
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts– chicken thighs or chicken tenders can be used. See my recipe for Crock Pot Chicken Thighs & Gravy For Two.
- garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper – you can season the chicken however you like. Lemon pepper seasoning and cajun seasoning also work.
- condensed cream of chicken soup– grab a can of it or make your own Cream of Chicken Soup. You could even try using Cream of Mushroom Soup, or whatever Cream of Something Soup you enjoy instead. If you’re sensitive to salt, you can use low sodium, or no sodium versions of this soup.
- water
- packet of chicken gravy mix– again, if you are sensitive to salt, you can try a low sodium gravy mix option if you have one.

HOW TO MAKE CROCK POT CHICKEN AND GRAVY FOR TWO:
Season the chicken on both sides with the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Place the seasoned chicken into the bottom of a 4-6 quart slow cooker.

In a large bowl, whisk together the chicken soup, water, and gravy mix. Pour the sauce over the chicken and place on low for 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours.

Once the chicken is done cooking, shred it with a fork. Stir everything together in the pot so the chicken is well coated in the gravy.

Serve immediately.
