THE PERFECT DRINK FOR BRUNCH
I have always loved a good Bloody Mary – even without any alcohol! It’s one of those drinks that really packs a punch of flavor, tastes amazing and really gets you going for the day. This Bloody Mary Mix is really simple to put together. Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix has always been my favorite brands to buy and now you can make it at home! If you are wanting a show stopping drink for your guests for Sunday brunch, then you have to try my Bloody Mary Mix!
TIPS FOR MAKING BLOODY MARY MIX:
- You can double this recipe to make more for larger crowds.
- I used gherkin pickles, shrimp, lemon and limes to garnish this, but you can use your favorite garnishes. Get creative!
- If you like more spice and heat, add some more hot sauce. If you don’t like a lot of heat you can cut back.
- Use your favorite brand of vodka for this. To make a virgin Bloody Mary, just substitute the vodka with club soda.
- The Bloody Mary comes from England where it was first thought to be called “The Red Snapper” then renamed after Queen Mary and her “bloody reign”.
- This drink contains a lot of electrolytes coming from the juices in here. This is why it is commonly a brunch drink.
- Switch out the alcohol for gin for a Gin Mary or Tequila for a Bloody Maria.

any ideas on how to can this?
I have tried a lot of Bloody Mary recipes and most of them are “too much” in one area (ie. Horseradish, pickle juice). I found this recipe to have the perfect ratios for a wonderfully tasting Bloody Mary! We like ours spicy, and added a few extra dashes of hot sauce. It is perfect!
Thanks so much Kristen! I am so picky about my Bloody Marys – ha! I am like Goldilocks – it’s gotta be juuuuuust right LOL – so happy you love it and I really appreciate you taking the time to come back and comment!
This Zing Zang Copy Cat looks like what I need. Have you ever tried canning it?
