TIPS FOR MAKING EASY BAKED RANCH CHICKEN NUGGETS:

  • For this recipe we use chicken tenders, but you can also substitute chicken breasts as well.
  • Panko bread crumbs give them an extra crispy flavor, but if you cannot find then you can use regular breadcrumbs as well.
  • No need to coat these in flour or egg, the ranch holds all the breading on for you.
  • These can easily be made in the air fryer if you prefer.

CAN I MAKE THESE IN THE AIR FRYER?

  • Yes you absolutely can. To make these Chicken Nuggets in the air fryer just preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for about 5-6 minutes. Spray your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray, then place you prepared chicken nuggets in a single row in basket.
  • If you want them a little bit crispier we have found spraying the tops of the chicken nuggets with some non-stick cooking spray helps with this. Air fry for about 7 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F degrees. You will need to do these in batches as you don’t want to over crowd your air fryer.

HOW TO STORE:

  • These Ranch Baked Chicken Nuggets will need to be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container where they should last up to 1-2 days.
  • You can also freeze the already breaded nuggets. To do this I like to place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in the freezer for an hour until frozen, then transfer to a freezer bag where they should last up to 3 months.
  • You can bake from frozen, you will just need to add a few minutes on your baking time and make sure to check for that internal temperature of 165F degrees.
