Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use homemade Alfredo and Garlic Bread?

Sure can! I’m all about convenience and ease at this point in my life, but if you want to use a Homemade Alfredo sauce, you certainly can. And, if you have a good Garlic Bread or Garlic Texas Toast recipe that you’d like to use, that would work as well.

Could I just use rotisserie chicken?

Of course! You would obviously be skipping the section below where we cook the chicken first. I would still season it with a bit of Italian seasoning though.

What’s the best way to cook the bacon?

You can place the bacon on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet at 400°F for 25 minutes, but my favorite way of cooking it is in the Air Fryer. Additionally, you can pop some in the microwave until it’s cooked to your desired crispness.

What to serve with Chicken Alfredo Toast?

We love serving the garlic toast with a Caesar salad. But it would also go nice with any salad or a vegetable. Call it a day and pop some microwaveable veggies in the microwave, and boom, super simple meal.

What’s the best way to store leftovers?

You can keep the garlic toast in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can reheat them just until warmed in the air fryer or oven.

Ingredients Needed: (See Recipe Card Below For The Full Recipe)

  • chicken – you can use chicken tenders, breasts or chicken thighs. You could even use some rotisserie chicken (see my tips on doing that above in the Frequently Asked Questions section.)
  • oil – I’ve been using avocado a lot more recently. It has a high smoke point. You can use olive oil or vegetable oil.
  • paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper – If you’ve followed me for a bit, you know this is my go-to seasoning blend. I added a bit of Italian seasoning into the mix to go along with the other flavors. But feel free to use your favorite blend of spices.
  • frozen garlic toast slices – You can use any brand.
  • garlic alfredo sauce – You can use any brand or make your own sauce as I mention above. My family and I are kind of garlic freaks, so we love this with the garlic alfredo, but regular plain Alfredo will work too.
  • shredded mozzarella cheese  – you can shred it straight off a block of mozzarella or get the pre-shredded in the bag kind.
  • bacon – use what you prefer here. You can use microwaveable bacon, you can fry up some bacon (see some of my tips above for that) or you could even use the bacon pieces that are sold in bags in the salad section of your grocery store.
