HOW TO MAKE PHILLY CHEESESTEAK ROLL UPS:
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a 10-inch baking dish or cast-iron skillet with cooking spray, set aside. In a medium-sized skillet over medium-low heat add a couple tablespoons of vegetable oil and sauté the onions and peppers until softened, 5-8 minutes. Season with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, set aside.
On a clean work surface lightly dusted with flour, roll out the pizza dough until smooth and flat.
In a small bowl stir together the mayonnaise and steak seasoning.
Spread this mixture all over the dough with a ¼ inch border.
Evenly spread the onion and pepper mixture over the dough.
Layer the meat evenly all over.
Add the provolone on top.
At the short edge facing you, tightly roll it into a large log.
Cut in half then cut the halves in half to form 4 pinwheels.
Place the pinwheels cut side up into the baking dish, slightly touching.
Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes, cover with foil to prevent too much browning. Continue to cook until the rolls are browned and the dough is set on the outside. If the cheese is not browned enough, turn on the broiler and broil until browned, keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
