Fruity Pebbles Layered Dessert is made with a Fruity Pebbles cereal shortbread crust with layers of strawberry pudding and whipped cream topping.
A FUN DESSERT “LASAGNA”
When it comes to certain foods, I am still a 9 year old little girl. I love frosting spread on graham crackers. I like toast spread with margarine and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and Fruity Pebbles are still my favorite cereal. In fact, I even make Fruity Pebbles Treats that are always a hit with friends and family!

It’s fun to take some of those childhood favorites and use them to mix things up. Like this Fruity Pebbles ‘Lasagna’ recipe I am sharing today. Your friends will look at this and go NUTS! It’s pretty, it’s super yummy, it’s simple to make and it has FRUITY PEBBLES in it! Seriously. What is not to love?!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- all-purpose flour
- Fruity Pebbles cereal
- butter
- softened cream cheese
- powdered sugar
- whipped topping (COOL WHIP)
- instant strawberry pudding
- cold milk

Cook’s Notes: Can’t find strawberry pudding? No problem! Just purchase two boxes of instant vanilla pudding and add 2 teaspoons of strawberry extract when preparing the pudding with the milk.

HOW TO MAKE FRUITY PEBBLES LASAGNA DESSERT:
For the first layer: Preheat oven to 350f degrees. Spray the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine flour, butter and Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Stir (or combine with your fingers) until a moist crumble forms.

Press crust mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Again, it’s easiest to use your hands here to press it down evenly and firmly.

Bake crust in 350F degree preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until very lightly golden brown. Allow crust to cool completely before moving on to the next step.

For the second layer: Using an electric mixer or stand mixer, mix together the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Then stir in half of the tub of whipped topping (you’ll save the other half for the final layer.)

Spread cream cheese filling on top of the cooled crust.

For the third layer: mix together both packages of instant pudding with cold milk. Stir until it just starts to thicken.

Evenly spread the pudding on top of the cream cheese layer.

For the fourth layer: Spread remaining whipped topping on top of the pudding layer.

Sprinkle the top with more Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Cover and pop into the fridge for at least an hour to allow the mixture to set up.
