The 3-Minute "Cookie"

Okay, okay, so it's not an actual cookie but it is a neat and sweet little treat.  Now say that 3 times fast!  This really is a fun little goodie to make. Your kids can help you and they really can't make much of a mess with this recipe, except for maybe some chocolatey M&M fingers as they sample the goods. It comes together so quickly which we all know is great when you want to make something special but don't have a lot of time.   Raise your hand if your child has told you the night before that you are supposed to be bringing the snacks for the boy scout/girl scout/social function for the next day?   Folks really gobble these up because you can't have just one.  The combination of sweet and salty is just irresistible.  I guarantee you will come home with an empty plate!  And hey, if baking just isn't your thing, then these are perfect.
Ingredients:
1 bag mini salted pretzels
1 bag Hershey's Bliss white chocolates (or any type of Hershey's kisses)
1 bag M&M's candies

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F Degrees

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Place pretzels on cookie sheet. Unwrap all your chocolates. Place them on top of the pretzels.
Bake for 3 minutes on middle rack. After done, take out and place M&M's on the top.

Allow to cool completely before eating. We like to put them in the fridge to help along with the process. And I like to eat these cold, but that's a matter of preference.

Cook's Note: You can use any kind of chocolate you want on these. We really like the white chocolate but you can use Hershey's kisses or the Hershey's hugs as well.  Also, try these with Rolo chocolates instead of the white chocolate. Top it with a piece of pecan. Another delicious combination!

Enjoy!

  11. LOVE these! They are soooo good. Funny story: First time we had these was at a barbecue. Both my husband and I had a few on our plates. I went to jokingly grab one of his and he literally stabbed me with his plastic fork! Now he didn't mean to hurt me, but it actually scratched my skin. Now I know that he takes these pretty seriously! ;)

  18. Thanks for stopping by my blog as well :D We will be going to Spangdahlem (more in the country and smaller than Ramstein) I am glad we are going to Spang. I'm used to smaller places since we have been at our current base in Nd for 10 years now. I think a bigger place may be more of a shock than the actual culture shock! Thanks for the link you shared. I will be checking our her blog
