25 Favorite Crock Pot Recipes

One of the most frequent questions I seem to get is about Crock Pot Recipes
Most folks just want some really good, tried and true recipes to make in their crock pots.
Now truthfully,  many recipes for the slow cooker (a.k.a. Crock Pot) aren't really the
 "Fix and Forget it" kind.
But making meals or desserts in your crock pot can give you time to do other things while your meal or dessert is cooking away. You don't have to stand over a hot stove and constantly babysit your food (but it will taste like you did!).
You can get your kitchen cleaned up, clothes washed, or like me, find reasons to avoid doing chores.  Like playing Battleship with my son or helping him with homework.
Or catching up on work, emails and social media, all while my crock pot is doing the work.
And, for some crock pot meals that involve slow cooking meat, you really can go to work for the day and come back to a yummy meal.

So, I thought today I would put together a whole list of tried and true slow cooker 
recipes for you.  These are my personal favorites and now they are all in one place so you can save this page to refer to later (I hope you will!).

  10. Thanks so much for sharing these. I use my crock pot more and more. We are retired, but my daughter and her toddler live with us. It is perfect...we can eat when we are ready, then can eat when they get home and these ideas look perfect. I don't supposed the hot fudge cake is a perfect dinner entree every night, but perhaps once in a while.
