tartar sauce(use as little or as much as you prefer)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Bake 8 Gorton's fish sandwich filetson a parchment paper-lined baking sheet for 15 minutes.
While the fish is cooking, coat the bottom of 8 Kings Hawaiian slider buns with 2 Tablespoons butter, meltedNOTE: I am using the container the slider buns came in (with King’s Hawaiian rolls and buns, the container is oven safe. If using another brand, you may need to put the rolls on an oven safe baking sheet - refer to the packaging).
Flip the filets over and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
At the same time put the rolls into the oven as well. Toast the rolls until light golden brown (this time can vary by oven but it should take just a few minutes) around the edges and then remove the fish and the rolls from the oven.NOTE: If you do not like your buns toasted, just skip this step.
Top each roll with a half slice of American cheese, baked fish filet, shredded lettuce, and spread some tartar sauce on the top half of the bun. Place the bun on top and serve!

The King's Hawaiian's slider buns come in a pack of 9 but we are only using 8 since that is how many fish filets come in the package I used here.
