Crispy, moist and delicious, these Air Fryer Pork Chops are a family-friendly recipe that comes together in no time. With just a few ingredients this will be your new go-to weeknight dinner!
In a gallon plastic bag, add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, shake until combined.
Add 1 pound thin-cut boneless pork chops to the bag and shake really well to coat in the mixture, set aside. Make sure all the pork chops are fully coated.
In a medium-sized bowl add 2 large eggs and 1 Tablespoon water. Whisk until combined and set aside.
In another medium-sized bowl add 1/3 cup finely crushed club crackers, 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon onion powder. Stir until everything is mixed together evenly, set aside.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Take the pork chops, one at a time and dip them into the egg mixture, let any excess drip off.
Place pork chop into the cracker mixture and coat it on all sides. Pat it in to form a good crust, shake off any excess.
Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive oil spray. Place the pork chops, not touching each other, into the basket. You may need to cook in batches.
Spray the tops of the pork chops generously with more olive oil spray. Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, spraying the tops with more olive oil spray.
The pork chops will be ready when they are golden brown all over and an internal temperature reaches at least 155°F.
Garnish with chopped parley (optional) and serve
Notes
You do need to preheat the air fryer for this recipe.
Ritz crackers or saltine crackers also work in this recipe.
The coating holds on really well to these so you don't have to worry about it falling off like some other recipes. Just make sure to use that olive oil spay on both sides. It also gives it that beautiful golden color.
The addition of cheese to the breading really gives it a great flavor. This is one of my secrets for the coating.
You can easily double this recipe. You will just have to make in batches. The tip for proper air fryer cooking is to not overcrowd the food.
I use thin cut pork chops for this so keep in mind that the cooking time is for thin cut only. You'll have to test it yourself and adjust for thicker cuts.
