Preheat oven to 425°f. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle the bottom with corn meal (optional.)
In a large skillet, cook and crumble ground beef, pepper and onion over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, drain any excess grease. Stir in pizza sauce and remove from heat.
Prepare pizza dough according to package directions. Press dough to fit bottom and about 1-inch up sides of prepared baking dish.
Spoon meat sauce into crust. Sprinkle with cheese; top with sliced pepperoni.
Cover and bake for 25 minutes then uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes longer or until crust and cheese are golden brown.
