Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Stir 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed and 4 Tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, melted together in a bowl and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine 4 cups cooked diced chicken, 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 3 green onions, thinly sliced, ½ cup slivered almonds and 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled . Mix until everything is fully combined.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the greased baking dish, leveling it out with a spatula.
Sprinkle the buttery ritz cracker crumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
Bake uncovered on the middle rack for about 25–30 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the casserole is bubbling. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with additional chopped bacon, and sliced green onions if desired, or garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!
