These warm Monte Cristo Sliders have all the classic flavors you love like turkey, ham and Swiss cheese all packed into Hawaiian sweet rolls and topped with a buttery spread!
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Meanwhile, take rolls out of the package and slice through all the rolls (while still attached), cutting them in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls into the baking dish.
Place half of the cheese slices onto the rolls, then layer on all of the sliced ham, all of the sliced turkey and then other half of the cheese slices.
Then place the top half of the rolls on top.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg and pepper.
Brush this butter mixture all over the top and sides of the sliders.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are toasted. If the buns start turning too brown cover them with nonstick aluminum foil.
Sprinkle the tops with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam on the side for dipping.
Notes
The jam is completely optional, you can dip these in any of your favorite dipping sauce.
These can be frozen, see above on how to do that.
If you are not a Swiss cheese fan, provolone or cheddar will work as well.
