To make the Italian dressing, combine 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning mix, 1 cup oil, 1/4 cup white wine vinegar, 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice, 2 Tablespoons honey, 1 Tablespoon chopped flat leaf Italian parsley, 1 garlic clove, minced, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt into a mason jar. Screw lid on tightly and shake vigorously until combined.Alternatively you can put all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk until combined.
Then serve over a green salad or use in a pasta salad.
Notes
NOTE: A packet of Italian dressing/seasoning mix generally calls for 2 Tablespoons of Italian seasoning mix along with oil, vinegar and water to make a dressing. There is no sugar, salt or xanthan gum in the homemade seasoning mix so I don't think you need as much since this is more concentrated. Also, we'll be adding a bit of honey and salt in this dressing recipe to balance it out. However, I would suggest you start with a Tablespoon then add more to your taste.
