6clovesgarlic, minced(if your cloves are large, you can use less)
fresh parsley, chopped(for garnish, optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, season 1.5 lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces with 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Heat 1 Tablespoon butter and 1 Tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 4-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium-low and add the remaining 2 Tablespoons of butter.
When the butter melts, add 6 cloves garlic, minced and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat the pieces with the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, chopped and serve warm.
