store-bought white (vanilla) cookie frosting(optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix together 4 ounces (½ block) cream cheese, softened to room temperature, ¼ cup packed light brown sugar and 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon until combined and smooth.
Roll out 1 sheet of puff pastry and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving ½ inch of space on one long side.
Spoon 14 ounce can whole cranberry sauce over the spread cream cheese and then evenly distribute the cranberry sauce, leaving ½ of space on the same long side as the cream cheese.
Roll the puff pastry up (long edge to long edge) until you reach the ½ inch of space.
Cut the log into 12 even pieces and place each pinwheel on the baking sheet.
Bake on the center rack of the oven for 24 minutes (or until golden brown).
Allow to cool then sprinkle with brown sugar and drizzle with store-bought white (vanilla) cookie frosting (optional) then enjoy!
