Welcome back to Weekend Potluck!
I hope you all had a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving.
My parents came up to visit us for Thanksgiving day.
They had to leave Friday to go back to work but at least we all had that Thursday to be together.
And I'm thankful to say that the food was plentiful on our table.
My hubby did most of the cooking! All I had to do was make the pie and he pretty much did all the rest.
And he helped with clean up and dishes. What a guy, huh?

Here he is frying our turkey.
Hopefully you aren't too tired of looking at yummy food because we have some good stuff to share today.
Weekend Potluck took a break last week because of the holiday so our featured recipes today
are actually coming from the week before.

There are two great giveaways (1) a $50 gift card to my favorite jeweler, robinsonlane.com (go check her out) and (2) a signed copy of Arkansas Pie: A Slice of the Natural State written by my good friend and blogger buddy, Kat Robinson. Be sure to sign up through rafflecopter for a chance to win one of these. http://diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com/2012/11/2012-merry-merry-munchies-3-baked.html
ReplyDeleteBrandie, So glad you had your parents over for the holiday. I've never tasted a fried turkey, but your husband is quite a guy to take on most of the meal. Season's greetings from NorCal, my friend!
