Notes
We use chicken drumsticks for this recipe but you can use wings as well. With wings, you will need to cut down on cooking time.
Use any type of oil that you like, we enjoy the flavor of olive oil but if you do not keep that on hand ,vegetable and canola work fine.
Do not overcrowd your air fryer, this keeps the chicken from getting crispy and cooking properly.
You'll want to make sure that your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F degrees. I recommend getting a kitchen thermometer if you don't already own one.
Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels before seasoning. This helps the seasoning stick onto them better.
You can easily double this recipe for larger families, just make more batches. As stated above, do not overcrowd the air fryer.
You can adjust the seasonings to your liking. This is the flavor we like best, but you can adjust to your preference.
Make sure to preheat your air fryer before cooking. It's just like preheating your oven, it will help them cook faster and evenly.
