Preheat the oven to 425°F. Add 2 Tablespoons of the 8 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (divided use) to the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish making sure it coats the entire bottom of the dish.
Add the 16 ounce pizza dough ball to the dish and stretch it out to fit the pan. If you find it hard to fit the dough to the pan, you can let the dough rest for about 5 minutes and try again.
In a small bowl, stir together 2 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ¾ teaspoon kosher salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
Brush half of the remaining butter on top of the pizza dough.
Sprinkle with half of the seasoning mixture.
Score the dough into 16 sticks.
Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
Immediately brush the breadsticks with the remaining butter and sprinkle the remaining seasoning mix on top.
Let cool slightly and serve with marinara or pizza sauce, to serve, optional.
