green sanding sugar, gold nonpareils and/or green sprinkles, for decorating
Instructions
In a heat-safe bowl, melt the melting chocolate either on the stove or in the microwave. Stir until fully smooth. Don't overheat.
Carefully dip a marshmallow into the chocolate to fully coat it. Let the excess chocolate drip off.
Once the excess chocolate is dripped off, place the marshmallow in the center of the fudge stripes cookie. Make sure the fudge stripes cookie is chocolate side up!
Sprinkle some green sanding sugar or sprinkles on the top of marshmallow for some added flair! And if you like, add three gold nonpareils in front of the "hat" on the brim.
Allow the chocolate to dry and harden back up and then enjoy!
Notes
I like to use melting wafers for the chocolate dip but you can also use high quality chocolate chips or almond bark.
I use milk chocolate but you can use semi-sweet or dark chocolate as well.
Green sanding sugar and gold candy balls (non-pareils) are what we decorate the tops with but you can use green and gold sprinkles - whatever you can find!
Any cookie will essentially do as long as you dip it all in chocolate.
