1 ¾cupshomemade sausage gravy(or 15-ounce can of sausage gravy)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray 8 sections of a muffin tin with baking spray, use a pastry brush to brush the spray around the cups, this way the pan is evenly coated, set aside.
Cut the crescent dough into 8 even sections. Press the dough gently into the 8 sections of the muffin tin, making sure the corners of the dough overlap the sides of the cups.
Evenly distribute the sausage gravy among the cups.
Take the overlapping corners of the dough and fold them over themselves so you form a little package or cup.
Bake for 14-15 minutes until golden brown.
Immediately take the cups out of the muffin tin and serve. Serve with more sausage gravy on top if desired.
Notes
You can use canned gravy like Libby's or Great Value or make your own homemade sausage gravy.
Substitute crescent rolls for dough sheets if you prefer them or cannot find the sheets, just make sure that the seams are sealed tightly.
Make sure your gravy if making homemade is cooled or at room temperature.
