Ingredients
4
russet potatoes
unpeeled, washed
2
tablespoons
olive oil
2
teaspoons
garlic powder
2
teaspoons
smoked paprika
1
teaspoon
oregano
½
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
black pepper
Optional to serve: freshly chopped parsley
grated parmesan, ketchup etc.
Instructions
Chop potatoes into half and then each half into large wedges.
Add potato wedges into a large bowl and add olive oil. Toss to coat.
In a small bowl combine all the spices.
Add the spice mix to the potatoes and toss to coat completely.
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F and spray the basket with cooking spray.
Add the potato wedges to the basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You will have to cook in batches.
Cook potatoes for 18-20 minutes, shaking the fries halfway through the cooking.
Serve warm topped with freshly chopped garlic, grated parmesan and dipped in ketchup or other favorite dip etc.
Notes
Add more salt and pepper to your liking.
You can spice these up by adding cayenne or red pepper flakes.
Easily double this recipe to serve more.
Make sure to cook in batches to not over crowd the air fryer basket.
Do not forget to spray the air fryer really well with olive oil cooking spray before adding potato wedges.
Try topping with melted cheese, chopped bacon and sliced green onions for "loaded potato wedges."
