These Air Fryer Chicken Breasts are so juicy and delicious! Not only are they easy and quick to make but you can make this chicken to use in any other recipe where cooked chicken breast is used!
Rub the oil and seasonings all over the chicken breasts and place in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 7 minutes, then flip, and continue cooking for an additional 8 minutes or until an instant read thermometer reads between 158 and 162 degrees F.
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5-10 minutes, this will allow the juices to redistribute through the chicken and it will finish cooking on the plate.
Double check that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165F degrees before consuming.
Notes
This same recipe works for chicken thighs as well.
It doesn’t get overly browned, so if you’re looking for that dark golden sear, this may not be the best method.
The seasonings can be adjusted depending on what you’re using the chicken for, but the olive oil, salt, and pepper are musts. My other favorite seasonings are lemon pepper and creole seasoning.
You can double this recipe to make more. I would just cook in batches.
You will need to preheat your air fryer for this. A lot of air fryer recipes don't call for preheating that but this one definitely does.
