Ingredients
1
head
cauliflower, cut into florets
¼
cup
olive oil
1
teaspoon
pink Himalayan salt
(or Kosher salt)
½
teaspoon
lemon pepper seasoning
½
Tablespoon
dried basil
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
1
Tablespoon
fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Cut the cauliflower into large florets by removing the leaves and trimming the stems.
In a large bowl or in a gallon sized Ziploc bag, add the cauliflower florets and olive oil.
Toss or shake to coat. Add the dry seasonings and toss/shake again.
Pour the seasoned cauliflower into the air fryer. Set to 400F and cook for 10 minutes. Shake the basket at least once during cooking.
Once completed, transfer cooked cauliflower to a serving bowl and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or lemon zest if desired.
Notes
You can use a head of cauliflower or a store-bought bag of cauliflower florets to make it easier.
Shaking your basket halfway through the cooking process helps the cauliflower cook evenly.
I like to use pink Himalayan salt but kosher salt or sea salt can be substituted in this recipe.
Fresh lemon juice is best but you can substitute with bottled if that is all that you have.
If you want to add a little more kick to this recipe - add some red pepper flakes!
Do not add the lemon juice until the end otherwise this can cause your cauliflower to taste bitter.
