The Best Chex Mix
With a blend of chex cereal, peanuts, cheerios, pretzels, and a seasoning blend of butter and spices, The Best Party Chex Mix will become your new favorite snacking treat.

Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons celery salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups Cheerios cereal
- 2 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
- 3 cups mini salted pretzels (unsalted can be used)
- 1 1/2 cups salted peanuts (unsalted can be used)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce and spices, set aside.
- In large bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels, and peanuts.
- Add the butter and seasoning mixture to the cereal mixture and stir to coat, making sure everything is covered.
- Spread the Chex Mix out on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool on the pan before serving.
Notes
- Rice Chex may also be used as well as any other add-ins or substitutions that you'd like.
- For a little more kick to the sauce, you can use smoked or Mexican paprika.
- We have used buffalo sauce to kick this up a notch as well. I love the extra spice that it gives to this Party Mix.
- This can be made in the Crock Pot. Cook on low for 1½ to 2 hours in a greased crock pot, stirring every 20 minutes to prevent it from burning.
- You can use pretzel bites instead of the normal pretzels if you like, we have used both and loved both as well.
