The Best Chex Mix
With a blend of chex cereal, peanuts, cheerios, pretzels, and a seasoning blend of butter and spices, The Best Party Chex Mix will become your new favorite snacking treat.

Ingredients

salted butter
melted
1
tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce

teaspoons
celery salt
2
teaspoons
garlic powder
2
teaspoons
paprika
2
teaspoon
onion powder

Cheerios cereal
2
cups
Corn Chex cereal
2
cups
Wheat Chex cereal
3
cups
mini salted pretzels
(unsalted can be used)
1 ½
cups
salted peanuts
(unsalted can be used)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce and spices, set aside.
In large bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels, and peanuts.
Add the butter and seasoning mixture to the cereal mixture and stir to coat, making sure everything is covered.
Spread the Chex Mix out on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Allow to cool on the pan before serving.
Notes
Rice Chex may also be used as well as any other add-ins or substitutions that you'd like.
For a little more kick to the sauce, you can use smoked or Mexican paprika.
We have used buffalo sauce to kick this up a notch as well. I love the extra spice that it gives to this Party Mix.
This can be made in the Crock Pot. Cook on low for 1½ to 2 hours in a greased crock pot, stirring every 20 minutes to prevent it from burning.
You can use pretzel bites instead of the normal pretzels if you like, we have used both and loved both as well.
