  • 5-6 lb fully cooked smoked spiral cut bone-in ham
  • 2 cups prepared sweet tea
  • 1 cup brown sugar dark or light
  • 10 whole cloves divided use
  • 2 cinnamon sticks divided use

  • Unwrap ham from all of the packaging. Place the ham into a deep 8-quart slow cooker. If your slow cooker isn't deep or wide enough, you won't be able to put the lid on.
  • Whisk together the sweet tea and brown sugar into a small sauce pan.
  • Whisk together well then pour half of this mixture on top of the ham, setting aside the rest of the liquid for later. Drop 5 of the cloves into the bottom of the slow cooker along with a stick of cinnamon. Place lid on crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • About 20 minutes before serving the ham, boil the rest of the liquid you set aside earlier. Drop in the last 5 cloves and remaining cinnamon stick. Whisk it well.¬†Reduce heat to medium low and glaze is bubbly and thickened (about 15 minutes)¬†stirring occasionally.
  • Once thickened, remove cinnamon sticks and cloves from the glaze. Then pour glaze over ham or use a basting brush to gently brush it all over the cooked ham.
  • Then serve!
