These homemade Big Mac Sloppy Joes taste just like your fave McDonald's hamburger but in a deliciously easy sloppy Joe sandwich! They're sure to be a hit!
4additional bun bottoms(if making these as double decker sandwiches)
4slicesAmerican cheese
shredded lettuce
Instructions
In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, French dressing, dill pickle relish, minced onion, sugar, vinegar, and garlic powder. Place in the fridge until ready to assemble the sandwiches.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, breaking it up into crumbles. Cook until there is no more pink. Drain any excess grease.
Add the beef stock, ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Take off the lid and continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes until most of the liquid is gone. Take off the heat.
If making this as a double decker: Place the bottom of a sesame seed bun on your serving plate. Add some of the Sloppy Joe meat. Top with one piece of cheese. Add another bun bottom on top of the cheese. Add more meat, followed by some of the sauce and shredded lettuce. Add a bun top and serve.
If making as a single sandwich: add Sloppy Joe meat to the bottom bun, top with a piece of cheese followed by the Big Mac sauce, shredded lettuce then the top bun.

Notes
You definitely don't need to make these double decker. I did that to stay "true" to the original Big Mac but you can certainly just make 8 normal sized sandwiches.
To make this even easier, try using a can of Manwich sloppy Joe sauce instead of making it homemade then just make the Big Mac sauce to top!
Keep any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. It is best to reheat the meat in a large skillet, add some more beef stock to loosen it up. Freeze for up to 3 months.
