11ouncepackage of Peanut Butter Ritz Crackers(48 Sandwich crackers)
12ounceswhite almond bark(½ a package)
12ounceschocolate almond bark(½ a package)
7.6ouncepackage of mini Reese’s Cups
Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
In separate microwave safe bowls, melt the white almond bark and chocolate almond bark according to the package directions: 1 minute at full power, stir and then 30 seconds more until you have reached the desired melted consistency.
Make sure not to cook too long or it will harden and start to clump together.
Working in small batches, coat a few Ritz peanut butter crackers at a time (about 2-3) and gently lift them out of the chocolate using a fork. I do one or two in the white chocolate and the same with the regular chocolate. Just use separate forks for each.
Drain off the excess chocolate back into the bowl and carefully transfer them to the prepared baking sheet. Be careful not to move them around too much or the chocolate will spread.
Next, quickly add the sprinkles to the chocolate coated ritz crackers before they harden.
Then dip the wide ends of the Reese's Cups Minis lightly into the remaining melted chocolate bark and place one on the top of each cracker to create a Christmas ornament look.
Continue steps 4-7 until all the crackers are done.
Once you have coated and decorated each peanut butter Ritz cracker, place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for roughly 10-15 minutes to harden.
Once they are set, remove them from the refrigerator and serve on a platter or in a container.
Notes
Any color candy melts can be used in place of almond bark.
If you like one almond bark more than the other you can use just one.
If you are storing in tins, make sure you stack separated by parchment paper.
