10ounceswhite melting chocolate wafers(I used Wilton brand)
red food coloring
1.5cupsPretzel twists(this is an estimate)
green and brown M&Ms
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate wafers on low power for 30 second increments, stirring between each increment until chocolate is fully melted.
Add in red food coloring to the white chocolate until you get your desired color of red.
Dip each pretzel twist into the melted chocolate, making sure the excess drips off. Place on a sheet of parchment paper.
Before the chocolate has set, add half a brown M&M on for the stem and half a green M&M for the leaf.
Repeat until you use all the white chocolate.
Place your parchment paper with pretzels in the refrigerator until chocolate is completely set (about 15 min). Enjoy!
Notes
You can buy red colored melting chocolate wafers at the store instead of using food coloring.
Red food coloring gel gives a deeper red color than the liquid. Wilton makes these as well.
I use Wilton brand chocolate wafers. They can be found in the baking aisle at most Was-mart stores or in the baking section of most craft stores.
